What cookies are

Small text files a site stores in your browser. They remember things — that you accepted the banner, that your session is still logged in, that this page loaded before. They can't run programs or read other sites' data.

Cookies we set

• cul_cookie_ok — remembers your cookie-banner choice for 12 months so we don't ask every visit. Essential.
• Booking/session helpers — keep form inputs from vanishing if you navigate mid-booking. Essential.
• Analytics cookies — anonymous page-view stats (which pages, how long, what device). Optional — the banner's 'essentials only' turns these off.

That's the whole jar. No advertising cookies, no social-media trackers, no fingerprinting.

Third-party embeds

Two things on this site come from outside: Google Fonts (typefaces) and the Google Maps embed on the contacts page. Google may set its own cookies when you load or interact with the map — those are governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours. Everything else is served from this domain.

Managing cookies

Three levers, in order of effort:

• The banner — 'essentials only' blocks the optional stats cookies from the start.
• Browser settings — every browser lets you block or delete cookies per site; search 'cookies' in your browser settings.
• Private/incognito windows — cookies die when you close them.

Blocking essential cookies breaks small things (like the banner reappearing every visit) but the site still works.

How this connects to privacy

Cookie data feeds the same rules as everything else on the privacy page — nothing is sold, nothing is profiled, and you can ask what we hold. The analytics data is aggregated; we can't tell which visit was yours.

Updates

If we add a new cookie type — say, a booking widget upgrade — this page gets updated and the banner reappears for returning visitors so you can re-choose. The date at the top tracks the current version.
