Service · ChoiceUpliftLane, Hamilton
Strength, conditioning and mobility classes capped at 14 people at ChoiceUpliftLane in Hamilton. Loud music, shared suffering, and a coach on the floor for the whole hour — not a voice from a screen.
01 / The offer
Fourteen people is the hard cap, not the average. That number exists because it's the most a coach can watch properly for an hour — every squat gets seen, every scaling option gets explained.
Grab a free trial and jump into whichever class fits your week. The 6am and 5:30pm slots fill fastest — book a day ahead for those.
02 / In detail
The timetable isn't a random menu. Strength classes run Mon/Wed/Fri, conditioning Tue/Thu, and mobility plus a longer hybrid session on the weekend — so a body that trains every class still recovers properly.
Coaches write the class program in 8-week waves, same as our barbell blocks. You'll see the same movement patterns return with small progressions — that's the point. Random workouts produce random results.
Try any class in your first week. If a coach can't scale a movement to your level on the spot, that class is free — and we'll write you a modification sheet for next time.
Capacity and satisfaction tracked through the booking app, October 2026.
03 / Pricing
All prices NZD with GST already in. Memberships and packs sit side by side so you can compare like for like — the full club price list is on the prices page.
Drop into any class with a free spot. Book ahead on the app or call the desk.
Any classes, 3 months to use them. Handy if your week is unpredictable.
Unlimited classes plus full gym access — the maths wins from two classes a week up.
Class spots go fast at 6am and 5:30pm — All Access members get booking priority 48 hours ahead of casual spots.
04 / The process
First class nerves are normal. Here's exactly what happens between booking and the final stretch — nothing is left vague on purpose.
Book a spot
Through the member app or by calling the desk. Casual spots open 48 hours before class, members book a week out.
Arrive 10 early
First-timers get a quick floor tour and meet the coach. Tell them about injuries — the whole class gets briefed in five lines.
Warm up as a group
10 minutes of movement prep tied to the day's work, not generic stretching. Cold bodies don't lift well.
The main block
Strength piece first — a lift or a skill — then the conditioning work. The coach walks the floor the whole time correcting and scaling.
Cool down together
Five minutes of guided stretching while the coach does the rounds — questions, tweaks, booking the next session.
Log it
Weights and times go on the class board and your app. Watching your own numbers climb is half the addiction.
05 / Combine it
Most members mix two or three services in a week. These are the combos we see working best.
Classes + Open gym — coached intensity plus solo volume. The All Access plan covers both.
Classes + Recovery sessions — the people who book both progress the fastest and complain the least.
06 / On the floor
Snapshots from the weekly timetable — the 6am crew, the lunch crowd and the after-work rush.

07 / Your coach
Liam writes most of the class programming and leads the conditioning side. Caleb runs the morning slots and the youth sessions, while Aroha keeps the strength blocks honest.
